Welcoming Raul Torres: Guiding Arizona’s Next Generation of Dreamers

The Youth Impact Program is proud to welcome Raul Torres as the new Program Director for Arizona Youth Impact Program. Raul joins YIP with a lifelong record of service, leadership, and mentorship — and a shared belief in what can happen when young people are given the tools, confidence, and vision to pursue their dreams.

A retired Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, Raul served across the globe for 24 years, leading teams through large-scale operations and high-pressure environments. His career reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence and the growth of those he led — a mindset that resonates deeply with YIP’s mission to help every participant recognize their own strength, discipline, and potential.

After retiring from the Air Force, Raul founded Visionary Leadership and Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in leadership coaching and facilitation. His work centers on empowering others to lead with purpose — exactly the kind of transformative guidance YIP aims to offer to every young dreamer who joins our program.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Raul is deeply rooted in community service. He has served as a Youth Group Leader, volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, and continues to give back as a board member of the Desert Thunder Squadron, a nonprofit that supports active-duty personnel and veterans from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

In his new role, Raul will help guide YIP Arizona’s growth, foster mentorship connections with student-athletes, and continue building bridges between our youth, local universities, and the greater Tucson community. His leadership reflects YIP’s core belief: that when young people are inspired, challenged, and supported — they don’t just dream; they lead.
