 Don Simpson has been a Member of the Board of Directors since the beginning of YIP.
As a fourth generation Virginia, Simpson has cultivated deep roots in the commercial and civic communities. Based in Alexandria, Virginia, Don is President of Simpson Development Company, Inc. and Vice President of Simpson Properties, Ltd., overseeing the companies real estate development and construction projects. His firms have a reputation for excellence and manage over 1.2 million square feet of commercial office space and 100,000 square feet of new mixed use development annually.
Don is very active within the community and with non-profit organizations. Some of his many positions and associations include: member of the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce; member of Board and Past President of the Eisenhower Avenue Public Private Partnership; member of Board of Directors of Youth Impact Program, Inc.; and member of the Alexandria Youth Sport Commission member.
Don is a graduate of Virginia Tech and resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife Stacey and their two sons, Cole and Max.
