My favorite aspect of the program is seeing our young men build self discipline, self esteem, self confidence, and respecting themselves and others. Also, I enjoy seeing the comrade that the young men exists, being that they come from different schools and neighborhoods.

I enjoy seeing young men start the camp/program one way and then at the end of the camp/program end up in another way. The goal is to help them help themselves. To assist these young men to recognize how to realize and reach for goals that are realistic. In short the goal is “to literally impact their lives” away from its current offering and to the one that we feel is more rational and attainable.

I enjoy learning and reading about History. I love spending time with my family, and helping under privilege kids. Football is my ultimate passion and I love watching it. I work out five times a week and I love playing basketball.
Favorite thing about working with the Youth Impact Program:
The most important aspect of the program that I love is the students in the program are having fun. Knowing that I am involved in something that has great value and worth for kids with limited opportunities in their communities brings joy to my heart. I love the dedication that the young men have shown in remaining respectful, and determined to learn both academically and athletically.

I enjoy this camp because it gives me a chance to teach kids who are interested in the same things I am. I look at this as a chance to share some of the things I have learned throughout my life.

Favorite thing about working with the Youth Impact Program:
The thing I love best about working at the youth camp is being able to give kids who do not have the opportunity to play football or get extra education a fun loving experience and hopefully teach them something they can take into life as well as onto the field.

My favorite part of working with the Youth Impact Program is making a difference in the lives of the young men. Also I enjoy learning from the young men and teaching them as well. I love the positive energy in the program; the energy is contagious throughout the whole program from the teachers to the mentors down to the young men.
